Scouts Agoonoree

Since 2006, the Special Scouts( Scouts with disabilities) troop of Penang Cheshire Home holds an annual Agoonoree (Jamboree for the disabled). This yearly event gives the Special Scouts the opportunity to do Scouting activities and to visit different places in Malaysia. Special Scouts from other organisations in Penang are also invited to join the yearly Penang Cheshire Agoonoree. We welcome donations towards this good cause as participants are not charged any fee.Click here for more information.

Foster Parents Day

A very meaningful pathway into community involvement is by way of our Foster Parents Scheme whereby an individual or a corporate citizen "adopts" a resident by contributing RM360 per annum. A Foster Parents Day is held annually to formally acknowledge and celebrate the caring and generous spirit of the Foster Parents.
Moreover, should you wish to take your adopted child for an outing or to celebrate a happy occasion with the residents, you are most welcome.

Christmas Caroling

In December, businesses can contact us (Tel: 04-2275546 / 04-2283319) to sing Christmas Carols at their venues. This is a fundraising project of our Home.

Birthday Celebration

We celebrate the birthdays of our residents with a birthday partyevery month. Besides presents, we also provide special food to make this day a memorable day.
